I am a third Generation orchardist. I bought into Mount View in 1968.
How long has your family/you been growing Batlow Apples?
We have been growing Batlow Apples for over 40 years.
Is there a history to the orchard?
Our orchard was originally owned by H.V Smith who started it in 1910.
What varieties do you grow and what is your favourite?
We grow Bonza, Red Delicious, Royal Gala, Jonathon, Bonza, Granny smith,
Braeburn, Fuji, Pink Lady and Sundowner. My favourite variety is Royal Gala

Life as a grower is Great! We have a good climate and there’s plenty to do – both in work and sport.
