Jeff began working on an orchard at the age of 17. Since then Jeff and Vicky have had six children who help out on the orchard after school.
How long has your family/you been growing Batlow Apples?
We have been growing Batlow Apples since 1996.
Is there a history to the orchard?
It’s a family orientated orchard, with all members of the family youngand old lending a helping hand wherever they can.
What varieties do you grow and what is your favourite?
We grow Royal Gala, Fuji, Red Delicious, Bonza, Pink Lady and Braeburn and our favourite varieties are Royal Gala and Fuji
Life in Batlow for a grower…
It’s a great life! We’re busy and work hard from September until May and then we get to have a family holiday!
